Another blogger posted a link to this article. Not living in GB, I can't know how valid the analysis is, but I think it's worth considering. I think that there is validity to the suggestion that there had been a breakdown in morality in the West, but I'm not sure exactly how that relates to the riots. Anyway, I think the piece is worth reading and thinking about.
