Yes. Oktoberfest has begun in Munich. So to any Bavarian readers, and to all the rest of you as well, "Pros't! Zum Wohl!"

BTW, in the "old country" Oktoberfest ends on the first Sunday of October, so between now and then, beer drinkers should drink Oktoberfest beer from Munich. If you want to drink "Octoberfest beer" from elsewhere for the rest of October, I think that's okay. It's what I'll be doing.
